Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting (CAFR Program)
The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate Program is designed to recognize and encourage excellence in financial reporting by state and local governments. Yeo & Yeo Audit Team members have performed review for the the CAFR program.


Governmental Audit Quality Center
Yeo & Yeo, P.C. is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (AICPA) Governmental Audit Quality Center for CPA firms. Membership in the Center demonstrates the firm's commitment to audit quality in the critical area of govermental audits. This voluntary membership Center is designed to help CPAs meet the challenges of performing quality audits in this unique and complex area. As a Center member, Yeo & Yeo has access to communications, education, resources and tools to support them in the performance of governmental audit practice.


Training
As CPAs and professional staff, we are required to satisfy certain minimum continuing professional education requirements for state CPA licensing, AICPA Peer Review and Government Auditing Standards, issued by the US Comptroller General. Yeo & Yeo is dedicated no only to satisfying those requirements, but also to providing our audit clients with staff that are knowledgeable in the accounting and audting environments of their assignment.

In order to stay abreast of key financial and accounting issues, we maintain an extensive accounting and auditing library, establish and maintain personal contacts within federal and state departments, access current development information from Internet web sites and provide continuing professional education.
