Members of Yeo & Yeo’s Not-for-Profit Team provide auditing, accounting, assurance and consulting services for over 200 not-for-profit organizations.

Mari McKenzie, CPA, is a Principal in the Saginaw office and has over 30 years of experience in not-for-profit accounting, auditing and tax. She is a resource and frequent presenter for the Michigan Association of CPAs for continuing education conferences. She serves on the Michigan Department of Education’s OMB A-133 Referent Group, and has been an active member since the inception of the committee.

In addition to making presentations to not-for-profit boards of directors at the conclusion of audit results, she has conducted several seminars: budgeting for not-for-profit organizations, not-for-profit organization accounting rules, donor accountability, reading financial statements and board responsibility and accounting issues. Mari has served on several boards of directors, and currently serves on the board of directors for the Underground Railroad and the Saginaw County Business & Education Partnership.
