Valuation Services Division members are involved in professional associations that enhance their expertise and experience in various aspects of valuation and litigation support.

The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) is a leader in providing training, research and support services to the business valuation industry and provides published standards, professional development opportunities, technical support, accreditation programs, research and support resources.

The Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc. (IBA) is a membership organization providing business appraisers the tools to perform high quality, credible valuations. IBA’s Transaction Database contains data on more than 20,000 actual transactions involving closely held businesses.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is an international, 25,000-member professional organization dedicated to fighting fraud and white-collar crime.

The Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential is granted exclusively to CPAs who demonstrate their business valuation expertise by earning the credentials through training and experience from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

The Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) accreditation is NACVA’s premier designation and provides assurance to the business and legal community that an individual has attained a level of knowledge in business valuations.
