Denise Garrett Earns Certified Professional Coder – Master (CPC-M®) Credential
Yeo & Yeo Medical Billing & Consulting is pleased to announce that Denise Garrett, Billing Manager, has earned the Certified Professional Coder – Master (CPC-M®) credential from the American Academy of Professional Coders.
The CPC-M® recognizes experienced coding professionals who demonstrate advanced expertise in professional fee coding, regulatory compliance, reimbursement methodologies, revenue integrity, and risk mitigation. Designed for seasoned coding leaders, the credential validates the ability to address complex coding and regulatory challenges across multiple specialties and care settings.
Garrett has more than 25 years of experience in medical billing and coding. She holds many credentials, including the Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB®), Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM®), Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO™), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA®), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Surgical Foot & Ankle Surgical Coder (CSFAC), Certified Emergency Department Coder (CEDC), and Certified General Surgery Coder (CGSC).

Her areas of specialization include coding diagnoses, services, and procedures, as well as meeting the business needs of healthcare entities through operational efficiencies and staff training.
Garrett serves as an ambassador for the American Academy of Professional Coders Chapter Association (AAPCCA). She is also a member of the National Alliance of Medical Auditing Specialists.
