Universal Hero (acf/home-hero)
YEO-889: one hero block replaces the old acf/hero, the never-shipped hero-40 pattern, and the classic company-hero.php / solution-hero.php includes. On Company and Solution pages it’s rendered automatically from the page’s own fields (headline, overview, background image). On any other page, an editor can place it manually and fill in the fields directly. If no Background Image is set, it falls back to the page’s own Featured Image.
Not previewable here: the company logo (shows only on a Company’s actual home page, verified against that company’s real URL) and the bottom nav bar (Companies menu / Company menu, template-driven) are both automatic and page-context-dependent — see a real Company or Solution page to check those.
Height options
Field: home_hero_height — Short / Normal / Tall.
Height: Short
460px — matches today's Company page hero.
Height: Normal (default)
580px — today's Home page height.
Height: Tall
681px — matches the retired acf/hero block.
Text color options
Field: home_hero_text_color — White / Bold Blue. Also flips the overlay gradient (dark overlay for White, light overlay for Bold Blue) and the fallback background color when no image is set.

Light overlay, dark teal text — today's Solution page look.
Background image
Field: home_hero_image. Same photo currently used on the live homepage hero — reused here just as an example image, not a suggestion to change the homepage’s.
With a Background Image
When set, this image is used directly (no Featured Image fallback needed).
Company logo
Not a live block below — this is an exact snapshot of the real output from the CPAs & Advisors company home page (/cpas-and-advisors), captured because the logo only appears when the current page really is a Company’s own home page (verified against that company’s URL), which can’t be triggered by a manually-placed block elsewhere. Also doubles as a real example of the Background Image + Featured Image fallback in action.
